Following the wild success of the first Strike Eagle 1-6x24 model, designed to be mounted on weapons based on the M4A1 (AR-15), in 2017 Vortex released the Vortex Strike Eagle 1-8x24 optical sight with an optimized AR-BDC2 reticle marked ballistically for the caliber 5.56 - regular for AR-15 for fast and aimed shooting. The sight has a fully coated multilayer optics, a clear image optimized for low light conditions. One piece aircraft grade aluminum alloy center tube. Easily focusable eyepiece, closed adjustment turrets. The body is anodized and completely waterproof.
